§ 180.378 - Permethrin; tolerances for residues.

Latest version.
  • § 180.378 Permethrin; tolerances for residues.

    (a) General. Tolerances are established for the combined residues of the insecticide cis- and trans-permethrin isomers [cis-permethrin, including its metabolites and degradates, in or on the commodities in the table below. Compliance with the tolerance levels specified below is to be determined by measuring only permethrin [(3-phenoxyphenyl)methyl 3-(2,2-dichloroethenyl)-2,2-dimethylcyclopropane carboxylate] and [trans-(3-phenoxyphenyl)methyl 3-(2,2-dichloroethenyl)-2,2-dimethylcyclopropane carboxylate] in/on the following food commodities: dimethylcyclopropanecarboxylate], as the sum of its cis- and trans- isomers in or on the commodity.

    (c) Tolerances with regional registrations. Tolerances with regional registrationregistrations, as defined in § 180.1(l), are established for the combined residues of the insecticide cis- and trans-permethrin isomers [cis-permethrin, including its metabolites and degradates, in or on the commodities in the table below.
