§ 63.7 Disposition of applications.
(a) Approval, disapproval, or deferral. On the basis of the review of an application pursuant to § 63.6 the Assistant Secretary will either
(1) approve the application in whole or in part, for such amount of funds and subject to such conditions as he/she deems necessary or desirable for the completion of the approved project,
(2) disapprove the application, or
(3) defer action on the application for such reasons as lack of funds or a need for further review.
(b) Notification of disposition. The Assistant Secretary will notify the applicant in writing of the disposition of its application. A signed notification of grant award will be issued to notify the applicant of an approved project application.
