§ 102-83.55 What is a rural area?
As defined in 7 U.S.C. 1991(a)(13)(A ), rural area means is any area other than—
(b) The urbanized area contiguous and adjacent to such a city or town(a) A city or town that has a population of greater than 50,000 inhabitants; and
that is not contained within the geographic boundaries of a CBSA.
