§ 107.74 - Small unmanned aircraft system training.

§ 107.74 Initial and recurrent training courses.
(a) An initial training courseSmall unmanned aircraft system training.
Training for pilots who hold a pilot certificate (other than a student pilot certificate) issued under part 61 of this chapter and meet the flight review requirements specified in § 61.56 covers the following areas of knowledge:
(
1a) Applicable regulations relating to small unmanned aircraft system rating privileges, limitations, and flight operation;
2(
b) Effects of weather on small unmanned aircraft performance;
3(
c) Small unmanned aircraft loading;
4(
d) Emergency procedures;
5(
e) Crew resource management;
6(
andf) Determining the performance of the small unmanned aircraft;
7(
.g) Maintenance and preflight inspection procedures
(b) A recurrent training course covers the following areas of knowledge:
(1) Applicable regulations relating to small unmanned aircraft system rating privileges, limitations, and flight operation;
(3) Crew resource management;(2) Emergency procedures;
and
4) Maintenance and preflight inspection procedures.(
h) Operation at night.
