§ 162.1e - Contents of summons.

(a)
Summons for person. Any summons issued under § 162.1d(b) to compel appearance shall state:(1) The name, title, and telephone number of the Customs officer before whom the appearance shall take place;
(2) The address where the person shall appear, not to exceed 100 miles from the place where the summons was served;
(3) The time of appearance; and
(4) The name, address, and telephone number of the Customs officer issuing the summons.
(b)
Summons of records. If the summons requires the production of records, the summons, in addition to containing the information required by paragraph (a) of this section, shall describe the records with reasonable specificity.
