    (a) Any approved contract for the operation of a

    record

    system

    will

    of records shall contain the standard contract

    requirements issued by the General Services Administration

    terms and conditions in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR chapter 28 and may also contain additional privacy-related terms and conditions to ensure compliance with the requirements of the Privacy Act for that

    record

    system of records. The contracting component will be responsible for ensuring that the contractor complies with these contract requirements.

    (b) The CPCLO, a designee of the CPCLO, or contracting components may impose additional contract requirements to further protect records.
