§ 1603.302 - Filing an appeal.

§ 1603.302 Filing an appeal.
(a) An appeal shall be filed within 30 days after the date of the appealable decision or certification for interlocutory review, unless the Commission, upon a showing of good cause, extends the time for filing an appeal for a period not to exceed an additional 30 days.
(b) An appeal shall be filed with the Director, Office of Federal Operations, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, by mail to P.O. Box 77960, Washington, DC 20013, by mail or personal delivery or commercial delivery service, by digital transmission, or by facsimile to (202) 663-7022.
(c) The appellant shall furnish a copy of the appeal to the opposing party at the same time it is filed with the Commission. In or attached to the appeal to the Commission, the appellant must certify the date and method by which service was made on the opposing party.
