The information collection requirements contained in part 280 have been approved by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) under 44 U.S.C. 3501 et seq. and assigned OMB clearance number 1010-0072. The information is being collected to inform the Minerals Management Service (MMS) of OCS minerals activities. The information will be used to ensure that such activities are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner in compliance with governing laws and regulations.
