§ 542.304 - Effective date.

§ 542.304 Effective date.
b(a) The term effective date refers to the effective date of the applicable prohibitions and directives contained in this part as follows:
a(
3051) With respect to prohibited transfers or other dealings in blocked property and interests in property of the Government of Syria, as defined in § 542.
(
2(i)2) With respect to a person whose property and interests in property are blocked pursuant to § 542.201(a)(

, for persons listed in the Annex to Executive Order 13572 of April 29, 2011, and 1:00p.m. eastern daylight time, April 29, 2011
, for persons listed in the Annex to Executive Order 13573 of May 18, 2011;
(3) With respect to a person whose property and interests in property are blocked pursuant to § 542.201(a)(7), 1 p.m. eastern daylight time, May 18, 2011
c;

3(i)4) With respect to a person whose property and interests in property are blocked pursuant to § 542.201(a)(
d, 12:01 a.m. eastern daylight time, April 23, 2012;
(
and5) With respect to a person whose property and interests in property are otherwise blocked pursuant to § 542.201, the earlier of the date of actual or constructive notice that such person's property and interests in property are blocked;

(b) For the purposes of this section, constructive notice is the date that a notice of the blocking of the relevant person's property and interests in property, or a notice of the imposition of a prohibition imposed pursuant to § 542.212, is published in the Federal Register.
