§ 149.529 - Type I personal flotation devices (PFD's).

(a) Each PPC must have enough adult Type I PFD's for 100 percent of the port personnel. Each PFD must be stowed in the living spaces.

(b) Enough additional Type I PFD's for 50 percent of the port personnel must be stowed near working spaces in well ventilated and accessible lockers marked “life preservers.”
