§ 301-14.8 - Transportation to and from a location away from the employee's designated post of duty.

The agency may approve the payment of transportation expenses when a situation described in § 301-14.1 requires the employee and/or members of the immediate family to be temporarily relocated to a place away from the employee's designated post of duty. Transportation to and from such location shall be in accordance with the governing provisions of parts 301-2 through 301-4 of this chapter unless the agency specifically approves a deviation from the rules for security reasons (see § 301-10.2 regarding use of cash to procure transportation services in emergency circumstances). The documentation provisions of § 301-14.9 govern in such instances.
