§ 320.1 - Policy.

  • It is the policy of the United States to encourage and, when appropriate, to require that new facilities and major expansions of existing facilities important to national security be located in so far as practicable, so as to reduce the risk of damage in the event of attack; and to encourage and, when appropriate, require the incorporation of protective construction features in newand existing facilities to provide resistance to weapons effects suitable to the locations of said facilities.
