§ 2202.36 - Fees and royalties.

  • (a) Public Law 100-94, Sec. 7(a)(3), authorizes the Commission to charge fees for any authorization of commercial use of its Logo. In general, the amount of any fee, royalty or other payment to be charged by the Commission in return for a license or authorization to make commercial use of the Logo shall be established by agreement between the parties.

    (b) A non-refundable advance against future royalties will normally be required from the licensee.

    (c) The Commission may, in its sole discretion, determine the circumstances under which it may choose to waive payment of fees, royalties or other charges for commercial use of the Logo.
