§ 111.12-7 Voltage regulation and parallel operation.
Voltage regulation and parallel operation must meet:
(a) For AC systems: sections 4–2–3/7.5.2, 4–2–4/7.5.2, 4–8–3/3.13.2, and 4–8–3/3.13.3 of the ABS Steel Marine Vessel Rules (incorporated by reference; see 46 CFR § 110.10–110–1 of this subchapter); and
(b) For DC systems: section 4–8–3/3.13.3(c) of the ABS Steel Marine Vessel Rules, and IEC 60092–202:2016 and IEC 60092–301:1980 (both incorporated by reference; see 46 CFR § 110.10–110–1 of this subchapter); and
(c) For mobile offshore drilling units: Part 4, Chapter 3, section 4/3.21 sections 6–1–7/5.17.2, 46–1–7/35.2117.3, 46–1–7/35.2319.2, and 46–1–7/35.2319.3 of the ABS MODU MOU Rules (incorporated by reference; see 46 CFR § 110.10–110–1 of this subchapter).
