§ 2810.007 - Deviations.

Heads of contracting activities are authorized to approve deviations and exceptions to specifications or standards listed in the Index of Federal Specifications and Standards when the exceptions listed in FAR 10.006 do not apply, in accordance with the reporting and other requirements of FAR 10.007. The Office of the Procurement Executive shall be notified, in writing, within 30 days of the approval of each deviation or exception approved.
