§ 193.2427 - General.

(a) Control systems must comply with the requirements of this subpart and other applicable requirements of this part.
(b) Each control system must be capable of performing its design function under normal operating conditions.
(c) Control systems must be designed and installed in a manner to permit
maintenance, including inspection or testing, in accordance with this part. (d) Local, remote, and redundant signal lines installed for control systems that can affect the operation of a component that does not fail safe must be routed separately or in separate underground conduits installed in accordance with ANSI/NFPA-70.
