§ 701.82 - Filing of false claims.

If the State committee finds that any person has knowingly supplied false information or has knowingly filed a false claim, that person is ineligible for cost-sharing under the program year with respect to which information or claim is filed. False information or false claims include a claim for payment for a practice not carried out or for practices which do not meet the required specifications. Any amounts paid under these circumstances shall be refunded and any amounts otherwise due the person shall be withheld. The withholding or refunding of cost-shares will be in addition to any other penalty or liability otherwise imposed by law.
