Pacific Gas Transmission Co.; Change in Rates

January 4, 1994.
    Take notice that on December 23, 1993, Pacific Gas Transmission 
Company (PGT) submitted for filing pursuant to section 4 of the Natural 
Gas Act and Sec. 154.63 of the Commission's Regulations thereunder, 
certain tariff sheets to establish a mechanism to adjust the effective 
and fuel and line loss percentages to reflect more closely the current 
requirements for fuel and line loss on PGT's system.
    PGT proposes to make the revised tariff sheets needed to implement 
this mechanism effective on January 22, 1994.
    A copy of this filing has been served on the parties on PGT's 
jurisdictional sales customers and interested state commissions.
    Any person desiring to be heard or protest said filing should file 
a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory 
Commission, 825 North Capitol Street, NE., Washington, DC 20426, in 
accordance with Secs. 385.214 and 385.211 of the Commission's Rules of 
Practice and Procedure. All such motions or protests should be filed on 
or before January 11, 1994. Protests will be considered by the 
Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will 
not serve to make protestants parties to the proceeding. Any person 
wishing to become a party must file a motion to intervene. Copies of 
this filing are on file with the Commission and are available for 
public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
