National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences; Meeting of
National Advisory Environmental Health Sciences Council
Pursuant to Public Law 92-463, notice is hereby given of the
meeting of the National Advisory Environmental Health Sciences Council,
January 24-25, 1994, at the Siena Hotel (Tuscany Room), 1505 E.
Franklin Street, Chapel Hill, North Carolina 27514.
This meeting will be open to the public on January 24 from 9 a.m.
to approximately 3:30 p.m. and from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. on January 25
for the report of the Director, NIEHS, and for discussion of the NIEHS
budget, program policies and issues, recent legislation, and other
items of interest. Attendance by the public will be limited to space
available.
In accordance with the provisions set forth in secs. 552b(c)(4) and
552b(c)(6), title 5, U.S.C. and sec. 10(d) of Public Law 92-463, the
meeting will be closed to the public on January 24 from approximately
3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 9 a.m. to adjournment on January 25, for
the review, discussion and evaluation of individual grant applications.
These applications and the discussions could reveal confidential
trade secrets or commercial property such as patentable material, and
personal information concerning individuals associated with the
applications, the disclosure of which would constitute a clearly
unwarranted invasion of personal privacy. Winona Herrell, Committee

of council members. Individuals who plan to attend and need special
assistance, such as sign language interpretation or other reasonable
