summary: A meeting of the U.S. Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy 
will be held on January 12 in room 600, 301 4th Street SW., Washington, 
DC from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
    At 10:30 a.m. the Commission will meet with Mr. Stanley Silverman, 
Comptroller, USIA, to discuss the Agency's budget. At 11:15 a.m. the 
Commission will meet with Mr. Robert Powers, Acting Associate Director, 
Bureau of Policy and Programs, to discuss proposals to create a new 
Bureau of Information within USIA.
