ACTION: Notice of Meeting of the Cultural Property Advisory Committee.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
The Cultural Property Advisory Committee will meet on Thursday,
January 28, 1999, from approximately 8:30 a.m. to approximately 3 p.m.,
at the U.S. Information Agency, Room 840, 301 4th St., SW, Washington,
DC, to continue its review of a cultural property request from the
Government of the Republic of Cyprus to the Government of the United
States seeking protection of certain archaeological and/or ethnological
materials. A portion of the meeting, from approximately 8:30 a.m. to
approximately 9:30 a.m., will be open to interested parties wishing to
provide comment that may be relevant to this request. The Cyprus

pursuant to 5 U.S.C. 552b(c)(9)(B) and 19 U.S.C. 2605(h). Seating is
limited. Persons wishing to attend the open portion of the meeting on
January 28, must notify cultural property staff at (202) 619-6612 no

clearance for admission into the USIA building.
Dated: January 6, 1999.
