Applicants must propose a project that fulfills the requirements of a Native Youth Community Project: 1) Focused on a defined local geographic area 2) Centered on the goal of ensuring that Indian students are prepared for college and careers 3) Informed by evidence 4) Focused on one or more barriers or opportunities with a community-based strategy or strategies and measurable objectives 5) Designed and implemented through a partnership of various entities 6) Led by an entity that is eligible and demonstrates the capacity to improve relevant outcomes Application Requirements The full text of each requirement is in the application requirements section below. (a) Tribal and Family Involvement. (b) Evaluation Plan. (c) Evidence-Based and Culturally Appropriate. (d) Project Sustainability Post Grant. (e) Needs Assessment or Other Data Analysis. (f) Signed Partnership Agreement. (g) Project plan with measurable objectives. (h) Assurance that funds will be used to supplement other program funding.
