Solicitation of Proposals for Big Game Guide-Outfitter Areas on 
National Wildlife Refuges in Alaska

AGENCY: Fish and Wildlife Service, Interior.

ACTION: Notice.

SUMMARY: Notice is hereby given that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service 
is soliciting proposals to conduct commercial big game guiding-
outfitting services on three national wildlife refuges in Alaska.

DATES: Proposals accepted from date of publication through postmarked 
date of February 5, 1996. Hand delivered proposals accepted by 
respective refuge manager until 4:30 p.m., Alaska Standard Time, 
Thursday, February 8, 1996.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is 
requesting proposals to conduct commercial big game guiding-outfitting 
services within three use areas on National Wildlife Refuges. The 
offerings include: Arctic Refuge--ARC15; Kodiak Refuge--KOD05; and 
Yukon Delta Refuge--YKD02. These offerings are for use areas which went 
unawarded during previous solicitations or have become vacant after 
being previously awarded. The authorized use period of these permits 
will be July 1, 1996, through June 30, 1998.
    A letter announcing these offerings has recently been sent to all 
State of Alaska registered big game guide-outfitters.
    Copies of the solicitation are available to other interested 
parties by calling or writing to the above telephone number/address.
