    Take notice that the following hydroelectric application has been filed with the Commission and is available for public inspection:

    c. Date Filed: December 23, 2016.

    d. Applicant: Hydro Kennebec, LLC.

    e. Name of Project: Hydro Kennebec.

    f. Location: The project is located on the Kennebec River in Kennebec and Somerset counties, Maine.

    k. Description of Request: Hydro Kennebec, LLC, licensee for the Hydro Kennebec Project, seeks Commission approval to extend the expiration date of its approved Interim Species Passage Plan (ISPP). The Commission approved the ISPP on February 28, 2013, with an expiration date of December 31, 2016. Hydro Kennebec, LLC wants to keep the plan in effect for three more years so that it expires on December 31, 2019 (the same date approved ISPPs expire for the Lockwood, Shawmut, and Weston Projects, which are also located on the Kennebec River).

    l. Comments, Protests, or Motions to Intervene: Anyone may submit comments, a protest, or a motion to intervene in accordance with the requirements of Rules of Practice and Procedure, 18 CFR 385.210, .211, .214. In determining the appropriate action to take, the Commission will consider all protests or other comments filed, but only those who file a motion to intervene in accordance with the Commission's Rules may become a party to the proceeding. Any comments, protests, or motions to intervene must be received on or before the specified comment date for the particular application.
