COMMISSION ON CIVIL RIGHTS

 

Agenda and Public Meeting of the Iowa Advisory Committee

    Notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of the rules and 
regulations of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, that the Iowa 
Advisory Committee to the Commission will meet on Friday, February 18, 
1994, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Hotel Fort Des Moines, 1000 
Walnut Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50309. The purpose of the meeting is 
orientation of new members and planning future activities.
    Persons desiring additional information, or planning a presentation 
to the Committee, should contact Melvin L. Jenkins, Director of the 
Central Regional Office, 816-426-5253 (TTY 816-426-5009). Hearing-
impaired persons who will attend the meeting and require the services 
of a sign language interpreter should contact the Regional Office at 
least five (5) working days before the scheduled date of the meeting.
    The meeting will be conducted pursuant to the provisions of the 
rules and regulations of the Commission.
