as Amended by Pub. L. 104-146; Notice of Pre-Application Technical
Assistance Workshops
AGENCY: Health Resources and Services Administration, HHS.
ACTION: Notice of Pre-Application Technical Assistance Workshops.

SUMMARY: The Health Resources and Services Administration will hold
three pre-application technical assistance workshops for organizations
that will compete for funds under Title IV, Grants for Coordinated HIV
Services and Access to Research for Children, Youth, Women and
Families, of the Ryan White Comprehensive AIDS Resources Emergency Act
of 1990, Public Law 101-381, as amended by Public Law 104-146.
Grants may be awarded to public or nonprofit private entities that
provide primary health care directly or through contracts. Eligible
entities may include, but are not limited to, State or local health
departments, university medical centers, public or nonprofit private
hospitals, community health centers receiving support under section 330
of the Public Health Service Act, hemophilia treatment centers, drug
abuse treatment agencies, tribal health programs, school based clinics
and institutions of higher education.
PURPOSE: The purpose of the technical assistance workshops is to
provide information about the Ryan White Title IV program and
application procedures. Eligible entities will have an opportunity to
review the program guidance and to receive technical assistance
pertaining to all aspects of writing the grant application.
