Pacific Gas Transmission Co. Notice of Change in Rates

January 14, 1994.
    Take notice that on January 11, 1994, Pacific Gas Transmission 
Company (PGT) submitted for filing pursuant to Section 4 of the Natural 
Gas Act and Section 154.63 of the Commission's Regulations thereunder, 
certain tariff sheets in the above-referenced docket to carry forward 
changes required as a result of the Commission's order of December 30, 
1993 at Docket No. TM94-2-86-000. This order required pipelines to make 
modifications in the GRI Funding Unit for rates effective January 1, 
1994. PGT's fuel adjustment filing of December 23, 1993 contained 
sheets affected by the Commission's December 30, 1993 order. In 
addition, PGT is submitting two sheets to correct for typographical 
changes.
    PGT proposes to make the proposed revised tariff sheets effective 
on January 22, 1994.
    PGT states that a copy of this filing has been served on PGT's 
jurisdictional customers, interested state commissions and parties on 
the official service list.
    Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 825 North Capitol 
Street, NE., Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with section 385.211 
of the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure. All such protests 
should be filed on or before January 24, 1994. Protests will be 
considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to 
be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the 
proceeding. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission and 
are available for public inspection in the public reference room.
