Litton Systems, Inc., Litton Guidance & Control Systems Division, 
Grants Pass, OR; Affirmative Determination Regarding Application for 
Reconsideration

    On November 23, 1993, the former workers requested administrative 
reconsideration of the Department of Labor's Notice of Negative 
Determination Regarding Eligibility to Apply for Worker Adjustment 
Assistance for workers at the subject firm. The Department's Negative 
Determination was issued on October 21, 1993 and was published in the 
Federal Register on November 9, 1993 (58 FR 59491).
    The former workers stated that production and employment declines 
occurred because production on the LN 93 and LN 94 systems was 
transferred to Korea.

Conclusion

    After careful review of the application, I conclude that the claim 
is of sufficient weight to justify reconsideration of the Department of 
Labor's prior decision. The application is, therefore, granted.
