Williams Natural Gas Company; Notice of Compliance Filing

January 15, 1998.
    Take notice that on January 9, 1998, Williams Natural Gas Company 
(WNG), filed the additional information provided to the Missouri Public 
Service Commission (MoPCS) in compliance with Commission order issued 
October 31, 1997.
    WNG states that it provided additional information to the MoPCS in 
compliance with the October 31, 1997 order. By order issued December 
30, 1997, WNG was directed to provide the Commission with a copy of the 
data provided to the MoPSC and any other pertinent information conveyed 
via discussions between the MoPSC and WNG's staff. WNG states that the 
instant filing is being made to comply with the December 30 order.

    WNG states that a copy of its filing was served on all participants 
listed on the service list maintained by the Commission in the docket 
referenced above.
    Any person desiring to protest this filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE., 
Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed as 
provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests 
will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate 
action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to 
the proceedings. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission 
and are available for public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
