SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The Long-Range Air Power Panel (LRAP) was
established October 8, 1997 in accordance with section 8131 of the
Defense Appropriations Act, 1998. The mission of the Long-Range Air
Power Panel is to provide the President and Congress a report
containing its conclusions and recommendations concerning the
appropriate B-2 bomber force and specifically its recommendation on
whether additional funds for the B-2 should be used for continued low-
rate production of the B-2 or for upgrades to improve deployability,
    survivability, and maintainability.

PROPOSED SCHEDULE AND AGENDA: The Panel will meet in closed session
from 0800-1800 on February 2 and 3, 1998 in the Tank at the Institute
