SUMMARY:

The FAA invites public comments about our intention to request the Office of Management and Budget's (OMB) revision of a current information collection. The Federal Register Notice with a 60-day comment period soliciting comments on the following collection of information was published on October 16, 2009, vol. 74, no. 199, page 53312. 49 U.S.C. 40117 authorizes airports to impose passenger facility charges (PFC).

Estimated Average Burden per Response: Approximately 10 hours per response.

Estimated Annual Burden Hours: An estimated 24,025 hours annually.

Abstract: 49 U.S.C. 40117 authorizes airports to impose passenger facility charges (PFC). This program requires public agencies and certain members of the aviation industry to prepare and submit applications and reports to the FAA. This program provides additional funding for airport development which is needed now and in the future.
