Agenda and Notice of Public Meeting of the District of Columbia
Advisory Committee
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of the rules and
regulations of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, that a meeting of
the District of Columbia Advisory Committee will convene at 2:00 p.m.
and adjourn at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 1995, in conference
room 540 of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, 624 Ninth St., NW.,
Washington, DC 20425. The purpose of the meeting to review the
materials from the fact-finding meeting on home lending discrimination
held on December 12, 1994.
Persons desiring additional information, or planning a presentation
to the Committee, should contact Committee Chairperson Charito Kruvant,
202-966-5804, on Edward Darden, Acting director of the Eastern Regional
Office, 202-376-7533 (TDD 202-376-8116). Hearing-impaired persons who
will attend the meeting and require the services of a sign language
interpreter should contact the Regional Office at least five (5)
working days before the scheduled date of the meeting. [[Page 5165]]
The meeting will be conducted pursuant to the provisions of the
rules and regulations of the Commission.
