AGENCY: Federal Communications Commission.
ACTION: Proposed Rule.

SUMMARY: This document requests comments on a petition for rule making
filed on behalf of Spring Creek Broadcasting Company requesting the
allotment of Channel 256A to Williams, California, as that community's
first local aural transmission service. Coordinates used for Channel
256A at Williams are 39-04-54 and 122-14-06.
DATES: Comments must be filed on or before March 10, 1997, and reply
comments on or before March 25, 1997.
