AGENCY: Minerals Management Service (MMS), Interior.

ACTION: Extending comment period for proposed Notice to Lessees and 
Operators (NTL).

SUMMARY: This document extends to April 6, 1998, the deadline for the 
submission of comments on the proposed NTL on Marine Transportation of 
Federal OCS Crude Oil Produced Offshore California published December 
5, 1997 (62 FR 64399).

DATES: We will consider all comments received by April 6, 1998.

extending the comment period 62 days from the original February 3, 
1998, deadline.
