ACTION: Notice of meeting.

SUMMARY: In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act, Pub. L.
92-463, as amended, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration
announces a forthcoming meeting of the NASA Advisory Council,
Aeronautics and Space Transportation Technology Advisory Committee,
Task Force on NASA's Aviation Environmental Compatibility Research
meeting.
DATES: February 24, 1998, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and February 25, 1998,
8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

the seating capacity of the room. The preliminary agenda for the
meeting is as follows:

--Emission Reduction Goals and Status
--Technology Transfer Into a Product
--Status of Emissions Regulations
--Environmental Impact of Aviation vs. Other Emissions Sources
--Status of Noise Regulations
--Go Forward Plan
It is imperative that the meeting be held on these dates to
accommodate the scheduling priorities of the key participants.
