BlueGrass Bound Timber Sale; Idaho Panhandle National Forests; 
Boundary County, ID

AGENCY: Forest Service, USDA.

ACTION: Notice; cancellation of notice of intent to prepare an 
environmental impact statement.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

SUMMARY: On August 31, 1993, notice was published in the Federal 
Register (FR 45879) that an environmental impact statement would be 
prepared to assess the effects of timber harvest and road construction 
within the Boundary Creek Drainage on the Bonners Ferry Ranger 
District, Idaho Panhandle National Forests.
    That notice is hereby cancelled.
    Changes in Agency direction will result in significant changes to 
the proposed action and the purpose and need for the proposed action. A 
new Notice of Intent to prepare an environmental impact statement will 
appear in the Federal Register in the early 1994.

DATE: This action is effective on January 3, 1994.
