National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases;
Meeting, National Task Force on Prevention and Treatment of Obesity Ad
Hoc Work Group
Notice is hereby given that the National Task Force on Prevention
and Treatment of Obesity Ad Hoc Work Group of the National Diabetes and
Digestive and Kidney Diseases Advisory Council will hold a meeting on
February 3, 1995, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Hyatt Regency Bethesda, 1
Bethesda Metro Center, Bethesda, Maryland 20814.
The meeting, which will be open to the public, will include
discussion on topics related to prevention and treatment of obesity and
updates on the Shape-up America Program, the President's Council on
Physical Fitness and Sports, the Weight-Control Information Network and
other related activities. Public participation will be limited to space
available.
For any further information, and for individuals who plan to attend
and need special assistance, such as sign language interpretation or
other reasonable accommodations, please contact Joanne Gallivan,
