Southern Natural Gas Co.; Notice of Refund Report

January 25, 1995.
    Take notice that on December 16, 1994, Southern Natural Gas Company 
(Southern), tendered for filing a refund report pursuant to Article II 
of the Stipulation and Agreement (Stipulation) in Docket No. RP83-58, 
et al. and the Commission's order dated March 23, 1989, approving such 
Stipulation. These refund levels result from the removal of Southern's 
Volumetric Take-or-Pay Surcharge (surcharge).
    Southern seeks in this filing to refund surcharge levels collected 
from December 18, 1993 through April 31, 1994 since the full level of 
cost allocated to the surcharge was deemed fully recovered on December 
17, 1993.
    Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 825 North Capitol 
Street, NE., Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with Rule 211 of the 
Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure (section 385.211). All 
such protests should be filed on or before February 1, 1995. Protests 
will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate 
action to be taken but will not serve to make protestants parties to 
the proceeding. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission 
and are available for public inspection.
