    SUMMARY: The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has issued Generic 
    Letter 96-01 to notify licensees of nuclear power reactors about 
    problems with testing of safety-related logic circuits, request that 
    licensees implement certain actions, and require that all licensees 
    submit a written response. This generic letter is available in the 
    Public Document Rooms under accession number 9601050193.
