ACTION:

Correction Notice.

SUMMARY:

On December 29, 2000, a 60-day notice inviting comment from the public was inadvertently published for the European Community/United States of America Cooperation Program in Higher Education and Vocational Education and Training in the Federal Register (65 FR 82985) dated December 29, 2000. This information collection is being submitted under the Streamlined Clearance Process for Discretionary Grant Information Collection (1890-0001). Therefore, this notice amends the public comment period for this program to 30 days. The Leader, Regulatory Information Management Group, Office of the Chief Information Officer, hereby issues a correction notice on the submission for OMB review as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. Since an incorrect public notice was published on December 29, the Department of Education is correcting the end date to the 30 days as required for discretionary grants instead of 60 days.
