    SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:

    Notice is hereby given that, in a letter dated November 14, 2023, the President amended the cost-sharing arrangements regarding Federal funds provided under the authority of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act, 42 U.S.C. 5121 et seq. (the “Stafford Act”), in a letter to Deanne Criswell, Administrator, Federal Emergency Management Agency, Department of Homeland Security, under Executive Order 12148, as follows:

    I have determined that the damage in the State of Vermont resulting from severe storms, flooding, landslides, and mudslides during the period of July 7 to July 21, 2023, is of sufficient severity and magnitude that special cost sharing arrangements are Start Printed Page 1118 warranted regarding Federal funds provided under the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act, 42 U.S.C. 5121 et seq. (the “Stafford Act”).

    Therefore, I amend my declaration of July 14, 2023, and July 17, 2023, to authorize Federal funds for debris removal at 100 percent of the total eligible costs for a continuous 30-day period of the State's choosing within the first 120 days from the start of the incident period.
