New England Fishery Management Council; Public Meeting

AGENCY: National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), National Oceanic and 
Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Commerce.

ACTION: Public meeting; cancellation.

SUMMARY: The New England Fishery Management Council (Council) has 
canceled a public meeting of its Herring Oversight Committee in 
October, 1999. This was to be a joint meeting with the Atlantic States 
Marine Fisheries Commission Atlantic Herring Section.

DATES: The meeting was scheduled for Wednesday, October 6, 1999, at 
l0:00 a.m.

ADDRESSES: The meeting was to be held at the Trade Winds Motel,
    2 Park Drive, Rockland, ME 04841, telephone [phone].

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: In the September 21, 1999, issue of the 
Federal Register, the announcement of the New England Fishery 
Management Council's Herring Oversight Committee was published (64 FR 
51095). This meeting has been canceled. The meeting will be rescheduled 
and the date will be announced in the Federal Register at a later date.
