    Texas Eastern Transmission Corporation; Notice of Compliance 
    Filing
    
    October 4, 1996.
        Take notice that on September 30, 1996, Texas Eastern Transmission 
    Corporation (Texas Eastern) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas 
    Tariff, Sixth Revised Volume No. 1, the following tariff sheet to be 
    effective November 1, 1996:
    
    Thirteenth Revised Sheet No. 34A
    
        Texas Eastern asserts that the purpose of this filing is to comply 
    with the Commission's orders issued March 17, 1995 and June 6, 1995 in 
    Docket No. CP92-184, et al.
        Texas Eastern states that on August 29, 1994 in Docket No. CP92-
    184-009, Texas Eastern filed an application pursuant to Section 7(c) of 
    the NGA to amend its July 1993 ITP certificate to, inter alia, modify 
    the facility configuration for changing customer requirements and to 
    revise the initial incremental rates authorized for its 1996 ITP 
    service. In the March 17, 1995 order, the Commission approved Texas 
    Eastern's application and amended Texas Eastern's ITP certificate as 
    requested.
        Texas Eastern states that it is filing Thirteenth Revised Sheet No. 
    34A to implement the initial incremental rates for 1996 ITP service.
        Texas Eastern states that copies of the filing were served on the 
    firm customers of Texas Eastern and interested state commissions.
        Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest 
    with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., 
    Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
    Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed as 
    provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests 
    will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate 
    action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to 
    the proceeding. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission 
    and are available for public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
