    High Island Offshore System; Notice of Compliance Filing
    
    October 4, 1994.
        Take notice that on September 30, 1994, High Island Offshore System 
    (HIOS) filed, pursuant to Section 4 of the Natural Gas Act, a 
    compliance filing tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, 
    Second Revised Volume No. 1, to place into effect on November 1, 1994, 
    the following tariff sheets to provide for an interactive Electronic 
    Bulletin Board (EBB):
    
    Third Revised Sheet No. 109
    First Revised Sheet No. 109A
    Second Revised Sheet No. 110
    
        HIOS states that this filing is in compliance with the Commission's 
    December 16, 1993, third order on restructuring. As detailed in the 
    above tariff sheets, HIOS has selected EnerNet Corporation to be its 
    interactive EBB provider.
        HIOS further states that copies of the filing have been served on 
    all affected shippers.
        Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should 
    file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy 
    Regulatory Commission, 825 North Capitol Street, NE., Washington, DC 
    20426, in accordance with Rule 211 and Rule 214 of the Commission's 
    Rules of Practice and Procedures, 18 CFR 385.211 and 385.214. All such 
    motions or protests should be filed on or before October 12, 1994. 
    Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the 
    appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants 
    parties to the proceeding. Any person wishing to become a party must 
    file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing are on file with the 
    Commission and are available for public inspection in the Public 
    Reference Room.
