Notice of Meeting

SUMMARY: Pursuant to section 10(a)(2) of the Federal Advisory Committee 
Act (5 U.S.C. App. I), this notice announces a meeting of the Klamath 
River Basin Fisheries Task Force, established under the authority of 
the Klamath River Basin Fishery Resources Restoration Act (16 U.S.C. 
460ss et seq.). The meeting is open to the public.

DATES: The Klamath River Basin Fisheries Task Force will meet from 8 
a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 26, 1995, and from 8 a.m. to 12:30 
p.m. on Friday, October 27, 1995.

PLACE: The meeting will be held at the Brookings Inn, Highway 101, 
Brookings, Oregon 97415.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The principal agenda items at this meeting 
will be a decision on elements of an Instream flow study for the 
Klamath River Basin; a decision on adoption of a draft Upper Basin 
Amendment to the Long Range Plan for the Klamath River Basin 
Conservation Area Fisheries Restoration (KR) Program; a review of and 
direction for the KR Program evaluation; a decision on revision of 
Request for KR Proposals and proposal ranking procedures; the 
cooperative role of the National Biological Service with the Task 
Force; and the nomination and selection of private landowners for 
recognition in restoration efforts in the Klamath River Basin.
    For background information on the Klamath River Basin Fisheries 
Task Force, please refer to the notice of their initial meeting that 
appeared in the Federal Register on July 8, 1987 (52 FR 25639).
