National Institute on Aging; Notice of Meeting of the Board of
Scientific Counselors
Pursuant to Pub. L. 92-463, notice is hereby given of the meeting
of the Board of Scientific Counselors, National Institute on Aging
(NIA), November 29-30, 1994, to be held at the National Institutes of
Health, Building 31, Conference Room 10, Bethesda, Maryland. The
meeting will be open to the public from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.; and
again from 1:30 until 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29. On Wednesday,
November 30, the meeting will be open from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
Attendance by the public will be limited to space available.
In accordance with the provisions set forth in sec. 552b(c)(6),
Title 5, U.S.C. and sec. 10(d) of Pub. L. 92-463, the meeting will be
closed to the public on November 29 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., from 12:30
to 1:30 p.m. and again from 4:30 until recess. On November 30, the
meeting will be closed from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. and again from 12:30 p.m.
until adjournment for the review, discussion, and evaluation of
individual programs and projects conducted by the National Institute on
Aging, NIH, including consideration of personnel qualifications and
performance, and the competence of individual investigators, the
disclosure of which would constitute of clearly unwarranted invasion of
personal privacy.

20892, (301/496-9322), will provide a summary of the meeting and a
roster of committee members upon request.
Dr. George R. Martin, Scientific Director, NIA, Gerontology
Research Center, 4940 Eastern Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21224, will
furnish substantive program information.
Individuals who plan to attend and need special assistance, such as
sign language interpretation or other reasonable accommodations, should
contact the Scientific Director in advance of the meeting.
