Medicaid Program; Charges for Vaccine Administration Under the
Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program
AGENCY: Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA), HHS.
ACTION: Correction of notice with comment period.

SUMMARY: On October 3, l994, we issued in the Federal Register (59 FR
50235) a notice with comment period that listed, by State, the interim
regional maximum charges that providers may impose for the
administration of pediatric vaccines to Federally vaccine-eligible
children under the Pediatric Immunization Distribution Program, more
commonly known as the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program. This notice
also specified the methodology that HCFA used to establish the maximum
administration charges and options that States could use.
In that notice, we inadvertently failed to specify the comment
period closing date and the addresses for submittal of public comments.
The omitted information follows:
Comment period: Comments will be considered if we receive them at
the appropriate address, as provided below, no later than 5 p.m. on
December 12, 1994.
