Columbia Gas Transmission Corporation; Notice of Refund Report

October 6, 1995.
    Take notice that on September 14, 1995, Columbia Gas Transmission 
Corporation (Columbia Gas) tendered for filing a refund report pursuant 
to the Commission's May 3, 1995, ``Order Granting Clarification'' 
issued in Docket No. RP95-124-001.
    Columbia Gas states that it has refunded the Gas Research Institute 
demand surcharge collected on capacity released at less than maximum 
rates for the period January 1, 1994 through June 30, 1995. Columbia 
Gas further states that it made these refunds in the form of credits to 
invoices issued on or around August 10, 1995 which were payable to 
Columbia Gas on or before August 20, 1995. The total amount credited 
was $1,136,267.79.
    Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should 
file a motion to intervene or a protest with the Federal Energy 
Regulatory Commission, 825 North Capitol Street, NE., Washington, DC 
20426, in accordance with Rules 211 and 214 of the Commission's Rules 
of Practice and Procedure (18 CFR 385.211 and 385.214). All such 
motions or protests should be filed on or before October 16, 1995. 
Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the 
appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants 
parties to the proceeding. Any person wishing to become a party must 
file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing are on file with the 
Commission and are available for public inspection.
