        e. Name of Project: Vermilion Valley.
        f. Location: On Mono Creek, within the Upper San Joaquin River 
    Basin in Fresno County, California.
        g. Filed Pursuant to: Section 15 of the Federal Power Act, 18 CFR 
    16.6 of the Commission's regulations.
        h. Effective date of original license: September 1, 1953.
        i. Expiration date of original license: August 31, 2003.
        j. The project consists of: (1) a dam across Mono Creek with a 
    crest length of approximately 4,350 feet and a height of about 160 
    feet; (2) a reservoir with a gross storage capacity of approximately 
    125,000 acre-feet at maximum water

    surface elevation of 7,642.5 feet; and (3) appurtenant facilities.\1\
