k. Description of Project: The proposed BAEDAL Hydroelectric Project would consist of: (1) a 5-foot-high outflow levy; (2) a series of up to 40 water wheels each mounted on a 7-foot radial arm and connected to a 20-kilowatt generator; and (3) appurtenant facilities.

When a Declaration of Intention is filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the Federal Power Act requires the Commission to investigate and determine if the project would affect the interests of interstate or foreign commerce.
